I can't log in
Fix sign-in problems, from using the wrong sign-in method to resetting your password.

Most sign-in problems come down to using a different sign-in method from the one you signed up with. Work through these in order.
1. Use the same sign-in method as before
You can sign in with email and password, Google, Discord or X. Accounts are matched by email address: signing in with Google or Discord using the same email as your account opens the same account. A different email opens a different account. X usually doesn't share an email address with us, so signing in with X always uses its own account.
If you're signed in but your characters, chats or membership are missing, you're probably in a second account. Sign out and sign in the way you did originally.
2. Reset your password
If you signed up with email and password:
On the sign-in screen, press Forgot password?
Enter your email and press Send reset link.
Open the email and set a new password (at least 6 characters). The link works for 1 hour.

3. Check the basics
Make sure your email is spelled correctly.
Passwords are case-sensitive, so check Caps Lock.
Update your browser, or try a different one.
Clear this site's cookies and cache, then try again.
Turn off VPNs, ad blockers or privacy extensions that could block the sign-in window.
Messages you might see
"Invalid credentials": the email or password is wrong, or the account was created with Google, Discord or X and has no password. Sign in the way you signed up.
"Access Restricted": fuckd.ai isn't available in your region. See Is fuckd.ai available in my country?
"Verify your age": your region needs a one-time age check.
"Account Suspended": the account was banned for breaking our rules. See Why was my message or image blocked?
