How to create a character

The character creator lets you build a companion from scratch: their look, their personality, and the story you share. This guide goes through each step and explains which choices matter most for chat and for images.

Before you start

Creating a character costs 4 Spunk, which covers drawing their portrait. Some accounts get their first character free.
Characters are private when you create them. Only you can see and chat with them until you choose to make them public. See Making a character public.
Every character must be an adult. Anything that looks or reads as underage is blocked.

Step by step

Open Create and choose Girls or Guys.
Style: photorealistic, or anime with vibrant colours.
Ethnicity: ethnicity, skin tone and age.
Hair Style: hair style, hair colour and eye colour. For guys, there's also facial hair.
Body Type: build, plus breast and ass size where they apply.
Outfit Selection: what they're wearing in their portrait.
Select Environment: where the portrait is set, and their pose.
Character Identity: name, age, personality, voice and the details below.
Review & Confirm: check everything, then press Create.

Most choices have a Custom option. Type a few words ("Brazilian-Japanese", "shaved sides, long on top", "rooftop pool at sunset") and they go straight into the picture.

The identity step, in detail

This step shapes how your character talks and behaves. It's worth taking your time over.

Personality: one line that sets the tone for every chat, such as Playful Tease.
Voice: how they sound on calls and in voice messages.
Occupation and Relationship: who they are, and who they are to you (roommate, boss, ex…).
Interests and Fetish: what they like to talk about and do. Pick at least one interest, or let AI picks choose.

Advanced Details (optional)

Leave the greeting, scenario and public description empty and our AI writes them for you. Fill them in yourself for a character that's exactly how you imagine them.

Greeting: the first message they send you. Write actions in *asterisks* and speech in quotes.
Scenario: the scene your first chat starts in. For example, "You're her roommate and she's been waiting up for you."
Public description: the bio on their profile.
Categories: tags that help people find them if you make them public.
Custom Physical Details: freckles, piercings, tattoos, tan lines. These go into every image of them.
Custom Face Details: face shape, lips, makeup, glasses. Also used in every image.
Body sliders: push the figure further than the words alone. High values can cause deformities, so use them sparingly. Leave them off to go with the description.

Tip: Custom Physical and Face Details are the best way to keep a signature look (a tattoo, glasses, a piercing) in every photo. Add them now: they're part of the character from the start.

Getting the portrait right

Every image of your character is generated from their profile picture, which starts as this portrait, so it's worth getting right. A clear, non-explicit close-up works best: it gives every later image the most detail to work from. If you don't like it, press Regenerate image and describe what should be different, such as "longer hair" or "a softer smile". Each regeneration costs 4 Spunk.

After you create them

Chat with them straight away, or Generate photos and videos. See How to write image prompts.

What isn't allowed

Characters that look or read as underage, characters based on real people or celebrities, characters you don't own the rights to, and anything built around non-consent are blocked. The full list is in our Community Character Policy.
